Wie wird in TrainController ein ZIMO MX8S-Modul mit 32-Einzelfunktionen, also 32 LED's für Tageslichtsignale konfiguriert?
Ausgang eines Schaltsymbols
Herr Freiwald schreibt dazu in diesem Beitrag:
Ein Ausgang eines Schaltsymbols im Sinne von TrainController steuert normalerweise immer 2 Kontakte des entsprechenden Decoders an. Die 16 Ausgänge in TrainController für ein MX8 können also 16*2=32 Kontakte ansteuern.
Contacts 1 and 2 on the MX8 correspond to output 1 in TrainController. Contacts 3 and 4 on the MX8 correspond to output 2 in TrainController. ... Contacts 31 and 32 on the MX8 correspond to output 16 in TrainController.
Controlling outputs individually
To control individual LEDs, symbols for push buttons or on/off switches are used.
With these symbols, in addition to the address and the output (remember: one output corresponds to two contacts), you can select whether the symbol should control contact 1 or contact 2 of this pair. Two pushbuttons or on/off switches can therefore share one output (one contact pair).

Sind die drei oder vier Kontakte eines Signals allerdings völlig frei verteilt, so muss man diese einzeln mit Tastern oder Ein-/Ausschaltern ansteuern, welche wiederum indirekt über Bahnwärter mit einem Signalsymbol verknüpft werden. Das Signalsymbol wird dann auf Ohne Anschluss gesetzt. Auf diese Weise kann das Signalsymbol indirekt bis zur 4 LEDs ansteuern, die beliebig auf die Kontakte von einem oder mehreren MX8-Modulen verteilt sind. Besser ist es aber, Ordnung in der Verkabelung zu halten und die Kontakte, die zu einem Zubehör gehören, zusammen zu lassen.
Option Impuls ausschalten
Da hier offenbar Signalbirnchen bzw. LEDs dauerhaft eingestellt werden sollen, muss die Option Impuls ausgeschaltet werden (siehe Option Hilfe zu dieser Registerkarte).
Die Option Impuls hingegen beschreibt bei einem Signal oder einer Weiche, welche beide Kontakte des Ausgangs belegt (Normalfall), ob beim Umschalten von einem Kontakt auf den anderen der neue Kontakt nur kurzzeitig (Impuls) oder dauerhaft eingeschaltet werden soll.
