Activation code without verification via the internet

To ensure users have no cause for concern, Mr. Freiwald explains the following in the forum:

So far, there is absolutely no indication that we will close our business. And we hope to be able to continue operating it for many, many years to come.

Nevertheless, we plan to allow users of the then-current version to continue using our software afterward. This could be achieved by enabling activation for existing users with a simple activation code without verification (via the internet or USB drive).
