Locomotive change without exit

I want to use the locomotive change operating point to drive a locomotive up to the rear of the train. How do I go about it?

At the operating station locomotive change the locomotive is changed. This means:

• a locomotive is separated from the incoming train,
• drives out
• and another locomotive drives in
• and is added to the train.

Therefore, not only an entry block is always required, but also an exit block over which the separated locomotive can exit.

If it is only a matter of bringing a locomotive in and adding it to a train, the shunting area operating point can be used for this purpose.

• Lokwechsel. Höchster Komfort. In dieser Betriebsstelle sind die Bewegungen - Abkoppeln und Wegfahren der alten Lok sowie Einfahren und Ankoppeln der neuen Lok - bereits eingebaut. Es müssen dafür keine eigenen Zugfahrten gebildet werden. Diese sind bereits in der Betriebsstelle enthalten.

• Rangierbereich. Volle Freiheit. In dieser Betriebsstelle können Zugverbände beliebig gebildet und getrennt werden. Nicht nur An- und Abkoppeln bzw. Wechsel von Loks.
